Corrections and material changes
How to report a factual error, broken source or misleading explanation in TakaCompass material.
Report a suspected error or broken source through the public TakaCompass GitHub issue tracker. Include the page slug, the statement in question and an official source link where possible. Do not include private financial information: GitHub issues are public. A report is a request for review, not a guarantee of a particular response time or outcome.
What helps us investigate
Point to the exact sentence or source link, describe why it may be inaccurate, and identify whether the issue concerns a date, unit, translation, calculation description or unsupported claim. For any time-sensitive financial fact, link the primary official record and include its effective or publication date.
How changes are handled
A maintainer can verify the cited source, correct the content and update its recorded edit date. Material changes to model rules should also be recorded in the repository's methodology and change log. No correction timeline or staffed complaint service is represented as established here.
Privacy when reporting
Issues are publicly visible and may be indexed or copied by third parties. Do not post names, account numbers, contact details, account screenshots, saved plans or other sensitive information. A factual report can usually identify the public page and source without identifying the person who used it.
